The Sun Times reports that Mark Suppelsa will be taking over nightly news anchoring duties from Watler Jacobsen. We wouldn’t go so far as to say that Jacobsen was fired for recent brushes with the law, but it seems to Geektastic that a weekly Sunday morning news show is clearly a demotion.
Our only other question is why the women news anchors always sit to the left of the men. We have never seen a male news anchor sit to the left of a woman. We think this is some kind of power conspiracy. We hope we’re wrong.
While we’re at it, we’re going to plug Anchorman the movie just because it seems timely. And also because the movie poster shows the woman on the right hand side of the anchorman.
