So the Vegans are anti tree-killing now. AnimalConcerns.org has a volunteer job listing under the “veganism” category for activists to attend the Wizard World Chicago comic book convention and try to recruit people for a “greening the comics industry” campaign. OK, vegans… if we can’t use animal products, and we can’t use tree products, what the hell are we supposed to print our comic books on? This leads us to believe that the “Greening the Comics Industry” people will not be happy until there is nothing left to print comics on. Although Geektastic is not actually opposed to the idea of eliminating comic books, we can’t volunteer for this activity because wizards give us hives.
